A London Wedding ~ 12th July 2015
Karlee and Paul met in London and lived in London until they moved out to Essex, so a London wedding was the perfect location for them to have their wedding day. Karlee was based at The Bull and Hide in Bishopsgate EC2, for morning of the wedding which is where I met with her while she began her preparations, along with her Mum and Sister who had flown over from Karlee's native South Africa for the celebrations on her wedding day. Meanwhile, Paul was over at The Fox and Anchor, Smithfield sprucing himself up! It was then up to North London for Paul and his best man, to meet the wedding guests at The Vineyard , Upper Street, Islington, for a few pre-wedding drinks. Thee bar is ideally positioned right over the road from the the Town Hall where the ceremony was to take place. Karlee, her Dad and sister made their way Islington Town Hall in the back of a black London taxi. Paul was waiting outside to meet Karlee before the ceremony, where they entered the town hall together, the ceremony was intimate and relaxed and before long they exited as the new Mr. & Mrs. Braybrook!
An open top London bus was on hand to escort the whole wedding party over to St Barts Brewery, Smithfield following a short tour of some of London's best known landmarks, for the very cool and rocking reception. Full of fun, laughter and a full on, whole wedding party, sing along to Snow Patrols 'Run' (Karlee's favourite) and to Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' (Pauls theme tune ;) ) This totally set the rest of the reception up for the awesome night that was to come.
Thank you Karlee and Paul for a brilliant day and for being slightly sozzled for your couple portraits ! I think you'll agree they certainly sum up the day perfectly!
