Chelsea and Joe wanted their wedding day to be THEIR day and it was, precisely that! It was to be all about them and what they loved, and indeed made.
It was an utterly stunning location, by a lake with tipi's for the campers, a beautifully and rustically decorated marquee. With hand made elements all over the venue, from the smallest detail up to the largest hand made bar and arch for the ceremony!
Chelsea and Joe wanted a simple and beautiful ceremony and that's just what they got from their humanist ceremony. I spoke to the celebrant prior to Chelsea's arrival and her response to me was, of course you can be wherever you want to be, it's Chelsea and Joe's wedding and they want you here to document their day. :) I rather loved her. And she was perfect, the ceremony was simply wonderful, it was both relaxed and beautiful. Chels and Joe danced back up the aisle singing away... seriously they are so cool! ;)
The wedding breakfast was a delicious Mexican feast and was topped off in the evening when a Marachi band strolled up from the lake to the marquee and played, it truly was an uber cool fiesta of a wedding!
